Visiting Springfield Illinois - Land of Lincoln

Abe Lincoln and Family's only home
ever owned in Springfield IL. Price paid in
1844 was $1500. They resided  at Eighth and
Jackson Streets for 17 years.

law partners in 1841. It is
believed Herndon advanced
Lincolns's position to oppose
slavery with a stronger determination.

second to Arlington Natl Cemetery.
Entomed here is A. Lincoln, Mary,
sons Edward, William and Thomas.
Eldest son  Robert Lincoln is buried in Arlington.
