in the North Dakota Badlands in 1883.

The BadLands
Theodore Roosevelt would arrive at the Pyramid Park hotel,
at Little Missouri Dakota Territory September 1883 for his
first bison hunt. His wife Alice was back in New York pregnant with
their first child. Roosevelt was almost 25 years old.
