Bryce Canyon Utah

February 25, 1928, the renamed Bryce Canyon National Park was established.
It was upgraded from a National Monument to the National Park category.

Bryce lies at a much higher elevation than nearby Zion National Park and the Grand Canyon, varying from 8,000 to 9,000 feet whereas the south rim of the Grand Canyon sits at 7,000 feet  above Sea Level.

Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah has over 37000 acres and small
in comparison to Yellowstone at over 2 million acres.

At Yovimpa Point in Bryce there is the ability
to see beyond 200 miles

The Bryce Canyon tourguide was excellent.
Excellent in describing the canyon, it's inhabitants,
plants, grasses and his sense of knowledge.
We all left with a great understanding of Bryce.
